While you wait, relax and enjoy a cup of complimentary tea. We have a wide selection of loose leaf teas for your enjoyment. Milk, creamer, sweeteners - local honey, sugar, stevia, agave, and monk fruit available if desired.

Herbal /Caffeine Free

​Holy Cranberry Tea – (Tempest in a Teapot, Stonington & Cushing Maine) Loose herbal Tulsi blended with cranberry, marigold, ginger, lemon myrtle, pepper, peppermint, and cinnamon. Tulsi is also known as holy basil and is revered as one of the most sacred herbs in India. Often referred to as “Queen of Herbs”, Tulsi is commonly thought by the Hindus to be a goddess living in the form of a plant that is bestowed with great spiritual and healing powers. Ingesting this herb transfers these properties to the recipient. Tulsi is thought to relieve stress, support the immune system, and increase stamina and endurance. Cranberry is chock full of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. This little berry is a powerhouse of healing with many reported health benefits. The cranberry is astringent and tart but is sweetened by the marigold and lemon myrtle in this delicious herbal blend. Ginger, pepper, peppermint and cinnamon give this tea a spicy jolt. This is caffeine free.

Cuppa Lavender – (Tempest in a Teapot, Stonington & Cushing Maine) A blend of lavender, lemon balm, and almonds. Lavender’s greyish purple flower is known for its sweet floral aroma and medicinal properties. Lavender is calming and is often used to alleviate feelings of agitation or stress, it also has antibacterial properties. Lemon balm is a medicinal herb used in ancient times to calm the heart and body, balance mood, promote sleep, and support digestion. Its delicate lemony flavor uplifts the spirit. Almonds are highly nutritious nuts that contain high sources of vitamin E, calcium, phosphorous, magnesium, and iron. There are numerous purported medicinal benefits to almonds. This tea is caffeine free.

Rosie Tea – (Tempest in a Teapot, Stonington & Cushing Maine) A proprietary blend of hibiscus, rosehips, honeybush, and orange. Honeybush is a South African flowering shrub that yields an earthy brew with sweet honey overtones. It is reported to be high in antioxidants. Rose Hips transfer several health benefits and are delicious as well as nutritious with a pleasing fragrance. Rose hip tea is a rich source of vitamin C, containing 50-60% more of the vitamin than an orange. In addition, the various flavonoids in rose hips have potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory action. Hibiscus is fragrant and tart. It is also high in antioxidants and may lower blood pressure. This refreshing and cleansing brew is rounded out with sweet orange. This is caffeine free.

Rainforest Tea – (Republic of Tea, Guatemala) Allspice leaves, birch bark, rooibos, cinnamon, allspice berries, pau d’arco, Chinese star anise, mace, anise seed, blackberry leaves, vanilla beans, and natural vanilla flavoring. Harvested in the rainforest region of Peten, Guatemala by indigenous families this exotic herbal blend is very refreshing. Lush allspice leaves provide a stimulating base while moist vanilla beans add a deep dark note of sweetness. This is caffeine free.

​Turkish Apple Tea –
(Sehrazat, Istanbul, Turkey) Sweet, light, and refreshing, this is a staple beverage in Turkey. It is widely shared as a symbol of friendship and hospitality. Not so much a “tea” but a powdered beverage. Red apple is dried and ground into a powder with a hint of lemon, cinnamon, and clove. Deliciously tangy. Served in a traditional Turkish tulip glass with a sugar cube to round out the flavor. This is caffeine free.

Purely Peppermint – (Two Leaves, Washington) Crisp and buttery, this organic peppermint is grown in the in the hot, dry climate of Eastern Washington State and is irrigated from the Grand Coulee Dam. Peppermint is known to aid digestion, reduce pain, eliminate inflammation, relax the body and mind, and boost the immune system among many other benefits. Most people find peppermint tea to be quite soothing. The fresh, pure aroma of this 100% pure peppermint will be sure to lift your spirits and quiet your mind. This is caffeine free.

African Sunset – (Two Leaves, Oregon) A really fragrant and delicious rooibos tea. Rooibos is grown in South Africa. In addition to being cherished for its woody-sweet, earthy flavor, rooibos is known to be high in antioxidants and trace minerals. A 100% organic red tea blended with organic lemon and lemongrass, this tea brews up rich and earthy with just a hint of lemongrass for a balanced, rich cup. This is caffeine free.

Caffeinated

Jasmine Pearls – (Republic of Tea, China) Harvested in early spring in Fujian province in China, the choicest, tippy leaf and bud sets are hand rolled into tight “pearls” and dried before they are scented multiple times with fresh fragrant jasmine blossoms. This painstaking process depends on perfect timing. The result is a clean, floral tea that yields distinct flavor even after many infusions. Jasmine “pearls” are a treat for the green tea lover – an act of poetry with a touch of caffeine, green jasmine tea awakens your mind and blooms your senses.

Spring Cherry – (Republic of Tea, Japan) In Japan, the sakura flower or cherry blossom symbolizes the coming of spring and new beginnings. Hanami or the Cherry Blossom Festival is an annual celebration to appreciate the temporal beauty of nature. This tea is reminiscent of the beauty of sakura. The essence of cherries and the sweet earthy taste of Japanese sencha leaves is a nice intro to the world of green teas. Rose petals and white paklum (rare, white tea buds) gives this tea its sweet, floral note.

Lychee Tea – (The Tao of Tea, Oregon) A wonderful robust black tea blended with the sweet and fragrant essence of the exotic lychee fruit. Native to Asia, lychee is a small round pink fruit with a translucent white pulp known for its delicate floral and fruity fragrance and taste. The unique perfumed flavor of the lychee fruit paired with fine China black tea yields a full-bodied, sweet and slightly fruity cup with a distinct uplifting taste.

Sada Chai – (The Tao of Tea, Oregon) Chai tea is a spicy, pungent drink made from some of the world's most medicinally active herbs. The herbs in chai tea are considered powerful antioxidants and anti-inflammatory agents. The name “Sada” means pure. This chai tea is a classic 100% pure organic black tea from India blended with organic spices harvested from the Luckgrove Spice Garden in Matale, Sri Lanka. Ginger, cardamom, cinnamon, coriander, cumin seeds, anise, cloves, and vanilla round out this robust blend.

Yerba Mate – (Guayaki Brand, Argentina) Traditional full bodied South American Yerba Mate made from the naturally caffeinated leaves of the South American rainforest holly tree. Yerba mate has the strength of coffee, the health benefits of tea, and the euphoria of chocolate all in one beverage. Mate leaves contain caffeine, theophylline, theobromine, 24 vitamins and minerals, 15 amino acids, and abundant antioxidants delivering both energy and nutrition.

Shan Lin Xi – (Nantou,Taiwan) Lovely oolong tea grown high on the mountains in central Taiwan. The name of this tea translates to “Pine Forrest Stream”. This is a high quality tea grown on a steep mountain slope at an elevation of 6,000 feet. It is hand plucked and un-roasted. The superior growing conditions result in a tea that is refreshing and sweet with a light floral aroma and earthy undertones.

Preto Pekoe – (Gorreana, Sao Miguel, Azores) Exquisite light and fragrant premium black tea grown organically in the mineral rich volcanic mountains of Azores, Portugal. Grown in Europe’s oldest tea plantation, the centuries old tea fields are surrounded by the majestic Atlantic Ocean and a unique set of exotic flowers which scent the delicate tea leaves to bring out its unique bold flavor.

Tie Guan Yin Oolong Cha – (Mountain Tea, Taiwan) Delicate yet bold, this oolong is organically grown on high mountain slopes, hand-picked, dried and roasted for optimum flavor. TieGuanYin, translated as “Iron Goddess of Mercy,” is a tea with legendary roots. Tea made from this cultivar’s leaf boasts a flavor that is unique and varied. Smoky, sweet caramel, and dark chocolate flavors are developed when this highly oxidized TieGuanYin is baked at a high temperature using a charcoal firing.  A full, rich brew that delivers a full roasted infusion with solid notes of cinnamon and amber.
